Being a part of the Rochdale Science Initiative C.I.C has been an absolute delight. Witnessing the sheer excitement on the faces of the young generation we aim to support and empower makes all the hard work we put into organising these events truly worthwhile.

Before I was invited to join this remarkable organisation, my exposure to the sciences was limited to what I learned through the education system. However, during my early conversations with our Founding CEO, Mohammed Rahman, and the visionary mind behind it all, Labib Rahman, about the lack of engagement and development opportunities for young minds in our local community, I knew deep down that this was a cause I wholeheartedly wanted to be a part of.

The work we have initiated and continue to enhance has proven to be invaluable. From our initial event, which drew a modest attendance of a few hundred, to our largest event that now attracts over a thousand attendees, we have witnessed remarkable growth. By collaborating with esteemed institutions, we have successfully engaged with numerous young minds, igniting their passion and inspiring them to pursue their dreams of becoming the next generation of great scientists, engineers, and educators.

I sincerely hope to remain a part of and contribute to this organisation for many years to come, and with the unwavering support of the community, institutions, and partners, we will continue our mission and make a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals.
