Hazera
Rochdale Science Initiative (RSI) holds a special place in my heart. I have met many wonderful people, including participants and colleagues, and I have enjoyed every moment of teaching and learning. Each step of my journey with them has been truly enjoyable, and I have taken pride in leading STEM community engagement activities in the Rochdale borough. RSI has also motivated me to inspire the next generation and contribute to schools in Rochdale and the wider community. This has brought me immense personal satisfaction and has been incredibly rewarding. The team at RSI is amazing and highly supportive. Working alongside the inspirational leader, Mohammed Attaur Rahman, has been a wonderful experience that has boosted my confidence in public speaking, pushed me out of my comfort zone, and encouraged me to become the best version of myself. I am forever grateful for his trust, passion, and belief in me.
Initially, I joined RSI by enrolling my children in interactive workshops. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them learn through fun experiments. Soon, I became involved as a parent helper, which allowed me to enhance my creative and problem-solving skills. I started delivering STEM workshops and played an important role in organizing the annual science extravaganza. The entire experience has been extraordinary.
Participating in STEM projects has further developed my curiosity and improved my ability to engage in debates. I am honoured to be a part of RSI, and I am grateful for the amazing opportunities that have been offered to me.
Looking ahead, I am excited about future projects that will inspire and motivate future generations to participate in STEM activities and learning. I eagerly anticipate enhancing my communication skills and professional development in a fun and delightful way.
I strongly encourage parents, caregivers, and young people to get involved and make the most of the opportunities provided by RSI. There is something for everyone, and I assure you that you will not be disappointed!
